Today I want to talk about how I get unblocked as an artist.
I have three tricks I do to get unblocked. I am going to share each of them and an example.
1.) I watch other artists on YouTube.
2.) I go on Pinterest and look for ideas.
3.) I get my kindle or sketchbook and just draw whatever my mind thinks of.
I watch other artists on YouTube. One art video that inspired me this week is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IicWeAOPmwc. Drawingwiffwafles is one of my favorite YouTubers. I love to work on art while listening and watching her videos. It helps inspire me and working on art or my business is a good thing. I am going to share the art I did yesterday while listening to this video.
I go on Pinterest and look for ideas. One idea that I found today is https://www.pinterest.com/pin/647533252669069093/ I use this coloring page for the image for a post on my social media to help promo my blog post from two weeks ago. The post read "Being open and honest this week. Sharing some harsh truths being authentic in the fact that I am in a rough spot now. https://www.mariesartest2017.com/post/feeling-like-depression-has-hit-me"
I get my kindle or sketchbook and just draw whatever my mind thinks of. Sometimes you just need to grab some supplies and just let your brain go work through everything that is in your head. To just get your ideas down on paper. You draw one thing, and it inspires another idea, and boom you have filled a sketchbook paper.
