This week I’d like to say everything is rainbows and sunshine but reality is that it’s not. I am sick and on medications beside my normal mental health medicine. In this time of being sick I feel like the topic of self-love and self-belief is a good idea.
The best way I know how to get through this post is to simple list out thing s going on and then talk more about them.
1. I went to the er for an issue (won't go into too much detail) but basically, they found two infections.
2. I got in a depressive state and thought this business I'm trying to build isn’t worth my time.
3. Tips for getting out of depressive state and how I am coping with everything life is throwing me right now.
Now for more detail: I went to the er for an issue (won't go into too much detail) but basically, they found two infections. Answer: I started on two medications for the infections. Then yesterday I received a call that I needed a third medication for one of the infections. My lives right now will be short a quick due to the fact that one of the meds I can’t be in the sunlight for prolonged hours. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I usually go live for 30 minutes to almost an hour painting. This medication won't allow for that. So, we work with what we have. I am okay psychically but mentally I am struggling a little bit. I got in a depressive state and thought this business I'm trying to build isn’t worth my time. Answer: If you have depression then you know that sometimes you need to sit with it and figure out what your next steps are. I have been able to recognize I was sitting in my depression for longer than need. I was just going through the emotions not quite happy but not sad. So, by this time I accepted the feelings that I had and was able to figure out that I needed get up and do my best. I created a valentine day color page did it sell no but I at least tried something new in my business and it felt good to experiment once again. Tips for getting out of depressive state and how I am coping with everything life is throwing me right now. Answer: Tip one: As soon as you recognize your depressed get your coping skills together. Tip two: Message a friend or someone who can hold you accountable and set a goal for one self-love or self-care activity that you plan to do. Tip three: grab your journal and just let it flow from your brain to the paper. Or you can go on pintrest or online a look up a journaling prompt and do that.
