I have been at my lowest point and now no matter what I will be at my highest. Life hasn't been easy for me and doses of reality come like shots of whiskey these days. Being a mom has taught me so many things I never knew. More importantly it has taught I need to show my son what the world has to offer him when your parent is kind and shows the world I'm in control of my actions. Actions speak louder than words can express how you feel.
The lotus flower is a flower a noun to grow through the mud in the muck of a pond and then as the flower reaches the surface when light hits it begins to bloom. in this last year my life has been a whirlwind of emotions and different feelings. I've accomplished some of my goals and some of my goals I've had to reevaluate.
Yesterday I created a new concept with drawing lotus flowers. I sketched out a lotus flower then I outlined it. Then I chose two colors and then I split the lotus flower in half and did one color on one side and another color on the other side. I am thinking of doing this concept once again but this time as a painting.
One thing that sucks about creating art with markers is that sometimes even when you Swatch your markers they still may run out while you're coloring. Which is what happened with the red on the lotus flower.
